The CodeBreaker functions as a memory editor. When executed, the software loads a database of "codes" into the PS2's RAM. These codes typically follow the format of a 32-bit address and a 16-bit or 32-bit value to be written to that address. Upon launching a game, the CodeBreaker remains resident in memory (using a "hooking" technique) to continuously write the specified values to the designated addresses during gameplay.

For many retro gaming enthusiasts, the PlayStation 2 remains the pinnacle of console history. But let’s be honest: some of those old-school titles are punishingly difficult, or perhaps you’ve already beaten them and want to mess around with infinite health, all unlockable characters, or "moon jump" physics.
