If you have a working device, connect via USB to a PC. The JL381A enumerates as a vendor-specific device (VID 0x4E4C, PID 0x381A). Use a tool like or lsusb (Linux) to read the product string. Many manufacturers embed a firmware hash in the USB descriptor.
