The premise is delightfully straightforward: Two monster sisters—typically a more aggressive demoness and a spell-casting witch—must battle through hordes of rival creatures, corrupted humans, and rival monster clans to save their homeland. The “Mamono” in the title refers to mamono (魔物), or magical/monstrous beings, and the game leans hard into Japanese gothic fantasy aesthetics.
