The premise is delightfully paper-thin, serving only as a clothesline for the various set pieces. We follow a couple, Rick and Vicky, whose small plane crashes on a mysterious, uncharted island. Naturally, they are separated immediately. Vicky is found by the local jungle queen, Tarzeena (played with statuesque authority by Christine Nguyen), who teaches her the ways of the wild. Meanwhile, Rick falls in with a bumbling scientist and must navigate the island’s dangers to reunite with his fiancée.
